First, read the invite
Check for a dress code or a colour the couple has asked guests to avoid, usually white and sometimes their theme colours. If there is an aso ebi cloth for friends and family, wear it. If not, you have room to play within good taste.
For women
Pick the lane that feels like you:
- Classic: a tailored midi or long dress in a rich solid, or lace, with heels.
- Fashion-forward: a sharp two-piece or a draped gown in a jewel tone.
- Church-first: cover the shoulders for the service, then lose the wrap for the reception.
